At DR RAHUL GUPTA DREAM SCHOOL (DRG Dream School), education goes beyond textbooks. SECTION – A: Curriculum Structure (Stage-wise)
1. Foundational Stage (Nursery – II)
Our early childhood program focuses on the holistic development of a child's physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional faculties through a play-based and activity-oriented approach.
The key focus areas are early literacy, numeracy, phonic awareness, creative arts and motor skill development
Theme-based learning modules, experiential storytelling, and interactive puzzle-based learning.
2. Preparatory & Primary Stage (Classes III – V)
As students transition into formal schooling, the focus shifts towards building conceptual clarity and independent thinking.
Key focus areas are languages (English, Bengali, Hindi), Mathematics, EVS, Computer Literacy and G.K.
Project-based assignments and interactive group activities to encourage collaborative learning.
Some major objectives of the Unit are:
1. To define appropriate approaches of academic activities to provide stress free, child centred and holistic education to all children without compromising on quality
2. To analyse and monitor the quality of academic activities by collecting the feedback from different stakeholders
3. To adapt and innovate methods to achieve academic excellence in conformity with psychological, pedagogical and social principles.
4. To encourage schools to document the progress of students in a teacher and student friendly way
5. To propose plans to achieve quality benchmarks in school education consistent with the National goals
6. To organize various capacity building and empowerment programmes to update the professional competency of teachers.
